PROJECT SCOPE
To find a custom solution to load and transport the complete fabricated vessel from the vendor yard to the port.
CHALLENGES FACED
The primary challenge was the need to transport a very large and heavy vessel through narrow roads and constrained spaces. Efficient coordination and precise handling were necessary to ensure safe transportation.
SOLUTION PROVIDED
Hydraulic multi-axle trailers were used for this operation. Two files of 15-axle conventional trailers with 540 HP ballasted trucks were used to load the cargo by using the self-jacking system of the trailers. This solution was crucial to navigate narrow roads and overcome other obstacles.
